Holly Springs Baptist Church is honored and blessed to be sending a team of eight youth and five adults as International World Changers to Chiang Mai, Thailand, July 5th to July 19, 2008. The team consist of: Youth; Dakota Cabe, Kristi Corbin, Genevieve Emrick, Andrew Raby, Caitlin Raby, Candice Tippett, Elizabeth Tippett, and Taylor Wood. Adult Leaders; Brandon and Nancy Breedlove, Steve and Gail Cabe, and Louise Henry. The Team ask for your prayers and for your support through several fund-raising projects.
Projects are:
*Love-Offering jars have been placed in each Sunday School Class.
*We are willing to do any job, big or small for a donation.
*We have Valentine Mugs ($5.00); Medium Valentine Baskets ($10.00) and Large Valentine Baskets ($15.00) for sale. Baskets are made by Louise Henry. Sample baskets are in the foyer. Just fill out the order form. Free delivery for the $15.00 Baskets within the city limits.
*Winter Indoor Yard Sale. Jan. 25 & 26, 2008 in Fellowship Hall B (Old Church Fellowship Hall); 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM each day.
*January 30, 2008 Missions Meal, the Team will be cooking and serving at the 5:30 Wednesday night supper. Dessert Auction following.
*February 9, 2008; 7:00 PM at Holly Springs Baptist Church, Blue Ridge Concert.
Love Offerting will be taken for the Team.
*February 13, 2008; 5:30 PM Wednesday Night Missions Meal. Team cooking and serving. Door Prices.
*February 16, 2008; 7:00 PM , Team will be waiting on tables at the Valentine Banquet in Fellowship Hall A. Tips appreciated.
*March 1, 2008; 6:00 PM. Holly Springs Baptist Church Sanctuary Bldg. A, "Talent Show". Great contestants and intermission snack time, too.
*March 12, 2008; 5:30 PM Wednesday Night Missions Meal. Team cooking and serving. Door Prices.
*March 15, 2008; 12:00 Noon Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show, directed by Betty Teague. Clothing from The Tanner Retail Store in the Holly Springs Plaza and beautiful models from Holly Springs Baptist Church. Tickets will be sold.
*April 16, 2008; 5:30 PM Wednesday Night Missions Meal. Team cooking and serving. Door Prizes.
Other projects, such as car washes will be coming up as the weather changes.
We will inform you of future projects.
The cost of the trip is $3,000 per person, due by the 1st of May, so the Team has a lot of work to do, and deeply appreciates your support. They have also been sending out Sponsorship Letters. Checks need to be made out to Holly Springs Baptist Church; For: IWC General Acct. if you want your money to go for the whole team. Or, you can put For: Team Member's Name / IWC if you want to give to a specific Team Member. Cash needs to be put in an envelope and labeled the same way.
