Name: Sierra Dawn Ensley

Background: 14 year member of HSBC

I am now with the International Mission Board. I was appointed on April 9th in Dallas, Texas.

Location: I am no longer in Santa Cruz, Bolivia I am on home assignment, headed to Maracay, Venezuela. I will be in training in Richmond, VA from April 28th to June 28th. Then on July 9th I am headed to San Jose, Costa Rica for 6 months for cultural training. If it is God's plan I will finally make it to Venezuela in April of next year.

Specific Mission (job): I will be working with a psychologist to help children who have disabilities. I will also be possibly teaching some English classes to adults. Overall my main job will be church planting among the professional class. This work is hard because the professional class goes to work at 7:00 am and return to their apartments at 7:00 PM. It is difficult to find a common time to meet with them.  Please pray that God will begin preparing the peoples heart for my arrival and that the missionaries there now can begin to see God move in a more apparent way!

Prayer Requests: I am still in need of prayer partners. That I will continue to be able to discern Gods will for my future.

"We Have a Mission-God's Great Commission
We Must Reach the Lost"

The Mission Jesus had while on earth is now our mission because we
are the Body of Christ. What He did in His physical body we are to
continue as His spiritual body, the church.
What is the mission?
Introducing people to God!

"My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me
by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about
God's wonderful kindness and love." Acts 20:24 (NLT)

Jesus calls us not only to come to Him, but to go for Him.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the very end of the age." Acts 28:19-20(NIV)

What is Our Mission?
"...to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for His good purposes."
Romans 6:13b (LB)
