Neil Moore

mooreNeil is a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church Choir, and Blue Ridge, where he sings barotone in a four man Southern Gospel Group. He also is known to sing solo, as well as play bass guitar for the church.

Neil has been singing mostly southern gospel since he was 9 years old. His major influences are Rusty Goodman and Glen Payne. When asked how, if he uses it, the Internet helps him, he stated that he uses it to search for the music he loves and learn more about the stories behind the songs.

Favorite song: There's no other word for grace but amazing.
Favorite Bible Verse: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
Ephesians 6:8

Connie Milsaps

Connie MilsapsI sing soprano in the choir. I started singing in my church choir as a child. I started singing solo as a teenager but ONLY because a friend encouraged me to do so. I went on to sing in a group at Mars Hill College, and we traveled a good bit throughout North and South Carolina, as well as Georgia.

My major influences are Sandi Patty and Karen Peck. I rarely use the Internet to assist me musically. I typically choose a song to sing because I have heard it first and it speaks to me in some way. Or, I will go to the music store and look for interesting titles to songs that I don't know and listen to see if that song might be something I want to perform.

Favorite song: I've Just Seen Jesus
Favorite Bible Verse: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct thy paths" Proverbs 3: 5 & 6

Pete Wolf

wolf I joined the Holly Springs Choir and Church about three months ago. I feel so blessed to be in the choir and church. God has given me an awesome talent to sing, I like singing, and I've always enjoyed singing, no matter if it was at school, church, or home; I always make sure that my voice is used for God's glory.

I started singing when I was very young in Russia. And when I moved to America I wanted to sing even more. In high school I was in the B-Naturals
and Concert Choir, and the more we auditioned for the All-State Competition, the more I wanted to sing.

When I joined the Holly Springs Church, I felt such a hunger to sing in the choir. And I thank God that he is using me as an instrument to sing and glorify his name.

My favorite song: When We All Get To Heaven.

My favorite bible verse: I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 8:12
